Choose a panel

Questi contenuti non sono ancora disponibili nella tua lingua.

Panel Assistant runs on ARM Android wall panels with Android 8.0 or newer and debugging access. You do not need to find your model on a list first: install it, and the Home Assistant dashboard, screen brightness and sleep, audio and the panel’s standard sensors arrive in Home Assistant straight away.

The models below each have their own hardware page with the facts to check before you buy. Where a model or family profile is available, it reaches what is special about that panel, such as its LEDs, buttons, relays, camera, microphones and climate sensors.

24 named panels from 11 brands have their own hardware page, and other compatible Android panels start on the Generic profile.

Each bar shows how much confidence we have in a panel, filling and turning green as it grows. A panel we have inspected on a unit of our own is the most certain, and more so where its maker’s firmware leaves it open to Panel Assistant. For other panels, confidence comes from examining the maker’s firmware, the manufacturer’s documentation, sharing a platform with a panel we have inspected, and owners who run Panel Assistant on one, while an older Android version we have not inspected counts against it. Hover over or open a panel to see which of these it has.

Several of these panels are the same hardware sold under different brands. Each brand’s name is listed, and leads to the one page for that hardware.

A panel that is not named here is still a supported panel. Panel Assistant does not need to recognise your hardware to run on it. Any panel that meets the requirements below starts on the Generic profile, which gives you the dashboard on the screen, brightness and sleep, audio, navigation, and the standard Android sensors such as light and proximity, all as entities on the panel’s own device in Home Assistant.

What a model’s own profile adds is the hardware peculiar to that model. Plenty of panels have none, and plenty of owners never need it. For them, Generic is the whole feature set, not a lesser one.

  • Android 8.0 or newer on ARM. Released builds support arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a.
  • Developer options. The installer uses Android’s debugging interface, which almost every panel lets you turn on.
  • Any system WebView. Vendors often ship an out-of-date browser engine. The panel app checks it, and Preparing the panel shows how to update it on your panel.
  • Root, only for a few extras. Some capabilities on some models need root. Each hardware page says which, and how to get it.

Hardware support is data, not code, so adding a panel means writing a profile rather than a new version of the app. The quickest way to get your model its own profile is to tell us about it: say what the model is and what happened in the issues. The profile documentation describes what a profile contains, if you would like to write one. Every report, working or not, brings more panels onto this page.
