Sonoff NSPanel Pro 86P

The 86P is the square variant of the Sonoff NSPanel Pro line, named for the EU 86 mm wall box. This page carries only its own specification and the facts that differ from the 120P; everything else (root process, WebView update, LED, sensors, Zigbee gateway, firmware quirks) is documented once on the family page, which this page’s sections link back to.

ro.product.model and ro.product.device both report px30_evb, a shared Rockchip board name and not a reliable way to tell the 86P from the 120P; ro.product.version reports the 86P-specific s6_android_x.y.z form. OTA ships as a full ROM through 4.0.12; later indexed releases ship as diffs or app-only updates (see the firmware page). The 86P’s proximity firmware restored ranged readings at 4.0.12 (the 120P stayed binary on 4.x); see Sensors on the family page.

Note

The Cortex-A35 is an efficiency core with markedly lower per-clock throughput than the A55 (TPA10) or A72 (WF1589T). With 2 GB RAM, the NSPanel Pro line is the entry-level performer of the three fully supported panels; see the performance comparison.
